New Paths for Education: After-school programming
The MSIFN receives funding from the Aboriginal and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) New Paths for Education Program to run an after-school homework support program for member and community member elementary and secondary students. The "Homework Club" program is offered every Monday and Thursday from 4-5pm in the Health and Resource Centre from October to mid-June. Tutoring services are provided by the Courtice Sylvan Learning Centre. MSIFN parents are encouraged to contact the Education Advisor to register their children for the program.
